What is the opportunity?

The Central Support Group (CSG) is part of RBC Royal Trust Risk and Regulatory Initiatives team which is a head office team of highly skilled estate and trust professionals. CSG contributes to the overall success and efficiency of the business by conducting account oversight reviews, risk monitoring and reporting, and other risk related initiatives.

What will you do?

  • Conduct account oversight review and new account review. Activities include auditing new accounts opened for necessary documentation, fields, and escalating missed items to management for further review and remediation.

  • Escalating outstanding account oversight items to management for further review and remediation

  • Conduct other assigned monitoring, reporting and escalation activities such as return mail and sundry loss review and processing.  

  • Assist with updating internal desktop operating procedures, to ensure accurate documentation of processes for internal controls.

  • Assist with control testing activities, as assigned including evidence gathering, process documentation updating, and communications with stakeholders.

  • Contributing to the overall success of the RBC Royal Trust business by providing support to the other head office teams with various initiatives, as assigned.

What do you need to succeed?

Must haves:

  • Experience reviewing documentation, conducting research, or analyzing systems/processes

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with comfort using data analysis features (e.g., pivot tables, basic formulas)

  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills (oral/written)

  • Highly organized with sharp attention to detail and a focus on accuracy

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and contribute to team goals

Nice-to-have:

  • Familiarity with trust/estate administration, wealth management, or business operations

  • Experience with trust and estate accounts, or CETA certificate

  • Experience interpreting legal/financial documents or working with high-net-worth client accounts

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$46,000.00 - $70,000.00
