Job Summary: You will serve as an EXECUTION CONTRACTING OFFICER'S REPRESENTATIVE (COR) in the RANGE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV. Major Duties:

  • You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for contract management of in-run contracts and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) LVC contracts.
  • You will coordinate with and aggregate information from High-Grade subject matter experts (SMEs) in various functional areas to apply the execution and evaluation of the Engineering Contracts portfolios and Operations and Maintenance (OM) Contracts.
  • You will execute and provides oversight to the day-to-day support of the active LVC contracts within the engineering and Operations and Maintenance contracts portfolio as part of the NCTE contract strategy.
  • You will ensure projects and capabilities transition from the NCTE LVC Engineering Contracts to the LVC Operations and Maintenance contracts to support following established processes to minimize impacts to cost and Fleet availability.
  • You will coordinate with functional SMEs such as the Engineering Projects manager, Network SME, Chief Engineer and Chief Information Technology Officer to execute contractual support in each of the functional areas.
  • You will coordinate with contract Technical Points of Contact (TPOCs) to ensure Operations and Maintenance contractor support for Fleet training requirements.
  • You will be accountable for the operations, products, and financial execution of the assigned tasks for the division.
  • You will be responsible for communication liaison between Supervisors, Contracting Officers, Sponsors and other agencies such as the Defense Contract Management Agency regarding technical requirements and makes recommendations when problems arise.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band or grade level (GS-11/12) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing and analyzing contract activities (e.g. performance monitoring, contract evaluation, invoice review, and contract closeout) to deliver effective and efficient contractor support to include resolution of training issues to meet operational requirements, developing project plans, and building detailed, comprehensive cost estimates impacting fleet training commands and functions.
