Major Duties:

  • You will serve as Administrative Director in the N1 Administrative Division of CMSA PAC, CAMP HM SMITH HAWAII, an Echelon III Command under COMUSFLTFORCOM.
  • You will serve as administrative expert and technical advisor in developing management policy relating to organizational structure; program planning, development, and execution.
  • You will be responsible for human resources planning and development, supervisory controls, delegations of authority, performance management, and employee relations.
  • You will be responsible for financial management and administrative services; and general intra-office communications.
  • You will provide guidance and set priorities for subordinate staff consisting of a both civilian and military personnel.
  • You will organize, plan, direct and administer the work of the Administrative Division in support of multi-shift operations (I or II), ensuring that work complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets organization needs.
  • You will balance workload and provide advice, guidance, and direction on a wide range of (functional area) and administrative issues.

Qualifications: To qualify for a GS-13, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in human resources planning and development, supervisory controls, delegation of authority, performance management, and employee relations; financial management and administrative services; and general intra-office communications. Experience providing guidance and setting priorities for subordinate staff. Experience planning annual operational activities and coordinating with senior management to develop annual travel and financial plans, formulate, direct, and evaluate activities. Experience Organizes, planning, directing and administering the work of the Administrative Division in support of multi-shift operations (I or II), ensuring that work complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets organization needs Experience assessing and revising policies and procedures as needed to find ways to improve quality, timeliness, and efficiency of work.
