Salary Range: $102246 - $132923 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a Administrative Officer in the Operations Program Support Division of COMNAVREGSW SDIEGO.

Major Duties:

  • You will develop performance plans, evaluate work performance of subordinates, and provide recommended rating of record.
  • You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinate, sets and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedule for completion of work.
  • You will oversee initiation, accuracy, processing and timely completion of all recruitment and personnel actions.
  • You will oversee processing and approval of military enlisted performance evaluations, officer fitness reports and all military personnel actions such as reenlistments, extensions, transfers, gains and special screenings.
  • You will oversee processing of travel requests and travel claims.
  • You will direct data processing and filing of Force Protection Incident Reports.
  • You will represent the commander in meetings, seminars, and conferences in respective area of responsibility.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Detailed knowledge of civilian staffing and selection procedures; 2) Detailed knowledge of administrative policies, procedures, and military performance evaluation processes; 3) Working knowledge of program management policies, concepts, theories, and principles; 4) Knowledge of management analysis techniques, including qualitative and quantitative analysis; 5) Knowledge of travel regulations and the Defense Travel Service (DTS); 6) Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including MS Excel and MS Access, as well as NavFit software; and 7) Skill in oral and written communication to prepare and present recommendations on complex issues.
