The Administrative Manager oversees and manages the business operations of a department, supervise administrative staff, assist with administration of financial processes, collect and analyze data for report generating, facilitate contracts, design and implement policies and procedures to improve quality of service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee administrative activities of a department.
- Administer departmental policies and procedures, evaluate results and performance, and assist with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.
- Manage large/ critical contracts with vendors.
- Implement methods, measures, policies and processes to improve cost efficiency and quality of service.
- Manage communication at all levels, within and outside the department on administrative matters.
- Manage administrative budget of the department, tracking actuals and variances.
- Engage in hiring, goal setting, performance management, engagement and other people processes (must have at least two direct reports).
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Minimum Education and/or Training:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum Experience: 10+ years of experience managing administrative activities.
- Experience Exception: Bachelor's degree and 3+ years experience managing administrative activities.
- Experience in managing communications with cross functional leaders/ stakeholders.
- Experience in managing people either directly or indirectly.

Compensation
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $70,720 - $126,880 per year for the role of Administrative Manager.
