Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordinates staff services, interoffice activities, schedules, programs and related administrative needs.
Administers/prepares reports, minutes, correspondence, lectures and administrative materials required for the direction of the department.
Maintains established departmental policies, procedures and objectives, including regulatory records for license, reports and notifications as necessary.
Evaluates and recommends purchasing sources. Assists with telephone problems and works with vendors to establish and verify terms and agreements.
Processes department bills and invoices including securing approvals in accordance with research compliance policies.
Assists with visitors questions and needs.
Coordinates planning and execution of departmental events, meetings, and special programs, including logistics, scheduling, and on-site support.
Manages event communications, invitations, RSVP tracking, and attendee coordination to ensure seamless participation and engagement.
Oversees event budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement of materials, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality execution.
Prepares event materials such as agendas, presentations, and post-event summaries,including tracking outcomes and feedback.
