Receptionist to assist in working closely with office staff to notify them of incoming calls, prepare outgoing mail and make copies or fax documents. Their job is to manage their office tasks while also answering calls from customers, answering questions and helping visitors. They may also be responsible for taking inventory of office supplies and placing orders accordingly.

Experienced Administrative Assistant/Receptionist – we need your organizational and office management skills to fill a role in a fast paced nonprofit social services office!

RHA Health Services is looking for motivated, detail oriented operations leaders with the ability to multitask to join our team as an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist.  In this dynamic role you will be responsible for performing clerical tasks with an office setting to support daily operations.

Job Responsibilities

As an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist, you will be responsible for answering and transferring phone calls to employees, sorting and delivering mail to employees and greeting visitors when they arrive for meetings with management or sales staff.

Additional responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant include:

  • Coordinating closely with department heads to establish and monitor systems that provide service user or employee information
  • Providing general building maintenance including ordering and maintaining office supplies, operating and maintaining office equipment as needed
  • Performing general office duties including: typing documents, forms and spreadsheets, distributing mail, answering office phones and greeting visitors, reviewing work logs to determine where additional clerical support is needed

Successful candidates of the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist role are able to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast paced business office while ensuring operational goals and objectives are met efficiently and effectively.

Additional requirements of the Administrative Assistant role include: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid Driver’s license and automotive insurance
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
  • Drug testing
  • Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
  • Proof of employment history or references (if required)
  • Positions that require driving Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
