A Day in the Life: 

This position is responsible for providing a wide range of administrative and support services to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls and visitors, responding to routine inquiries.

  • Enter information into appointment calendars for various managers as required.

  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and related materials; assist with scheduling meetings as directed.

  • Prepare, edit, and format documents, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.

  • Maintain filing systems in accordance with the records retention schedule.

  • Order office supplies and ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained.

  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence.

  • Maintain office facilities and equipment.

  • Complete accounts payable vouchers, submit invoices for payment, and may reconcile purchase card statements.

  • Perform other administrative duties as required.

Skills/Experience Requirements: 

  • Minimum of three (3) years of related administrative experience.

  • Grade 12 or equivalent, plus an administrative/business office certificate or a Certificate of Administration.

  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and competencies will be considered.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency with computers, including demonstrated ability using spreadsheets, databases, communication tools, and word processing software.
