About the Role

Join our Virtual Health team and play a key role in supporting patients enrolled in our Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) program. This innovative service helps patients manage their health from home by tracking daily vital signs (such as weight, blood pressure, and oxygen levels) and receiving virtual nursing care.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will ensure a smooth experience for patients by handling onboarding, scheduling, virtual setup calls, and equipment troubleshooting in collaboration with our vendor. You will also manage program discharge workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient onboarding and scheduling for RPM services.
  • Conduct virtual setup calls to teach patients how to use monitoring equipment.
  • Assist with equipment troubleshooting in partnership with our vendor.
  • Manage program discharge and offboarding workflows.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication within Epic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with Epic, including appointment scheduling, workqueues, and inbasket management.
  • Remote work experience.
  • Proficiency with basic technology and Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel).

Job Summary:

Supports an Administrator, Sr. Director/Director, or department leader. May support a department.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work may include routine to complex administrative support functions.
  • Compiles information for reports or presentations. Prepares charts, graphs, or tables.
  • May be responsible for budget tracking and maintaining financial or personnel records and databases.
  • Responds to correspondence. Edits and proofreads documents.
  • Communicates with others in person, telephone, and/or email. May receive and screen visitors and handles general inquiries.
  • Assists with preparing for and facilitating meetings, conferences, programs and/or special events.
  • Establishes and maintains filing systems. Orders and stocks supplies.
  • May enter information from a variety of sources into computer database(s) and verify data entered into computer by checking printouts/reports for errors and correcting as required.
  • Works under clearly defined procedures with limited discretion, and under close supervision.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION

  • High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
