Position Purpose
At Mercy Care Atlanta, we believe in delivering compassionate, clinically excellent healthcare to those most in need. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative and operational support to senior leaders, ensuring smooth coordination of clinical and administrative activities. This role is vital to advancing our mission of loving service to the poor and vulnerable.
What You Will Do
Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for senior staff.
Prepare agendas, take minutes, and track follow-up actions.
Draft and format correspondence, reports, and presentations.
Maintain organized filing systems and assist with compliance documentation.
Support program coordination, including workshops, staff training, and data tracking.
Serve as a primary administrative contact, handling inquiries and communications.
Coordinate travel arrangements, reimbursements, and purchasing requests.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare administration (or equivalent experience).
2–3 years of administrative experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information.
Experience in healthcare or nonprofit settings; familiarity with scheduling software and HRIS systems preferred
