The Administrative Assistant provides general administrative support services to the School Office staff including processing mail, managing incoming phone calls, greeting guests, ordering supplies, maintaining office equipment, and performing other duties that create a pleasant, organized work environment which promotes productivity. The Administrative Assistant coordinates events, assists with special projects as requested, and is supremely attentive to facilitating effective communication between families, teachers, and the general community.Required Certificates and/or Licenses: None required.

Maintaining contact with families, teachers, and other community members
Maintaining accurate addresses, phone, and e-mail information
Updating student management systems when requested by administration
Assisting with inventory and maintenance of office equipment, supplies, and services
Fulfilling approved material requests
Completing tasks assigned by school administrators accurately and timely
Assisting in other departments as assigned by manager
Setting up conference calls, meetings, and office functions (on-site and off-site)
Coordinating special events
Creating and maintaining administrative calendars in Outlook as needed
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Three years of experience in an administrative role or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to pass a required background check.
Certificates and Licenses: None required.
Other Required Qualifications
Great organizational and time management skills
Working knowledge of digital phone systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
Web proficiency and ability to use search engines for research projects
Experience using a student information system or other type of database
Desired Qualifications
Experience working in a school setting

This is an office-based position in Maumee, Ohio. The noise level in the office is usually moderate (computers, printers, light-foot traffic).
