Job Description
As Administrative Assistant at Rockwell Automation, you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the MV Commercial Engineering and Product Management teams. You will report to Business Manager, MV Drives and will work Hybrid at Cambridge, ON.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, set up meetings, facilities and resources
- Process office correspondence: emails, letters, memos, scanning, office supplies, printer paper
- Make/Coordiante travel arrangements for employees including research and assist on Travel visas
- Process Expenses for managers/employees
- General admin Support as required to other PCB Depts (excluding ISC Depts/Functions) in Cambridge Facility
- Maintain MV Commercial Engineering & Product Mgt Calendars
- Arranging / Processing office consumables, accessories, coffee machine, etc. for day-to-day operation
- Maintenance of department training and safety matrix. Work with EHSS to ensure appropriate safety training drills are executed for the dept employees
- Coordinate on-boarding for new employees; computer hardware set up and access requests, telephone work requests etc. Preparation of customized onboarding information binder for each new hire. Ensure follow up on necessary HR/Payroll/Safety documentation is completed
- Work in SAP on– Create Shopping Carts/Material Masters/Purchasing/Appropriation Requests
- Follow up on shopping carts to ensure goods receipts have been created and invoices posted.
- Assist with Retirement celebrations, and Social or Employee engagements sponsored or initiated by the Company including Donations (Death or others), Sponsorships, Company BBQ, Ice Cream days etc. This may involve collaborating and engagement with Admins of other Depts/Functions.
- Coordinate logistics (example - catering, prizes, dinner and snacks etc.) for MV Commercial School hosted in Cambridge
- Order catering for special meetings and events for MV/PCB Depts. Not expected to support ISC functions/Dept
- Create and maintain org charts
- Other duties as required and assigned by Manager
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- High school diploma or GED
- Legal authorization to work in the Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- 2+ Years of related experience
- Experience working in collaborative, team environments.
- Ability to pay attention to detail and be proactive.
- Advanced use of Windows, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.

For this role, the total target compensation is from $55,920.00 - $83,880.00 CAD Annual. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
