The Administrative Assistant supports the Factory Manager and operations leadership team in a high‑tech semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role ensures smooth office operations within a fast‑paced wafer fabrication facility, coordinates cross‑functional communication, manages critical documentation, and helps plan internal events that support safety, production excellence, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Office Support

  • Manage calendars, meetings, and shift‑aligned schedules for the Factory Manager and fab operations leaders.
  • Serve as the central coordination point for communications across manufacturing, engineering, EHS, planning, and facilities teams.
  • Coordinate factory access and badging for visitors, contractors, and cross‑site personnel in alignment with cleanroom and security requirements.
  • Maintain office supplies and administrative resources for both general office areas and cleanroom‑support zones.
  • Assist with travel logistics, expense reporting, and purchase requisitions.

Event & Employee Engagement Management

  • Plan and execute fab‑specific events such as all‑hands meetings, safety stand‑downs, operator appreciation events, product launch celebrations, and training workshops.
  • Coordinate logistics for town halls, yield reviews, and quarterly business updates, including room setup, catering, cleanroom‑appropriate materials, and audiovisual needs.
  • Collaborate with HR, EHS, and Operations to support culture, retention, and recognition programs—especially for shift‑based manufacturing teams.
  • Manage event budgets and ensure accurate tracking and vendor billing.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of administrative experience; experience in semiconductor manufacturing, electronics, aerospace, or other high‑tech/regulated industries preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize across multiple engineering and manufacturing functions.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interface with technicians, engineers, supervisors, and executives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and common factory software tools (SAP, training management systems, etc. preferred).
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced production environment with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting a wafer fab, operations leader, engineering manager, or manufacturing site.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols, safety requirements, or semiconductor process flows.
  • Prior experience planning technical or employee events in a shift‑based 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time‑sensitive operational tasks.

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $50,000 – 70,000USD.

Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
