Position Summary

Position serves complimentary roles within the school’s administrative and operations office primarily supporting School Operations and Clinical Education with some support to other areas as needed. All functions and roles are seated within and supported by the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Administration.

Primary Role: Partners with the School’s Administrative Manager and School Administration to support school operations by completing or supporting the completion of requisitions, spend authorizations (travel), event coordination, and special assignments that support the school’s day-to-day functions, including providing backup coverage for division administrative functions as needed. Position will support collection of data/documentation for annual reporting, asset management audits, accreditation, and compliance. Position will provide scheduling and logistical support for (AP&T) promotion and tenure processes. Position serves as a member of the overall School Administration, by serving on committees, event planning/coordination and other duties as needed

Secondary Role: Supports the Clinical Education (ClinEd) programs of the School. Duties include but are not limited to: database management (Exxat) and data entry, high-volumes of communication to facilitate tracking student compliance and clinical rotation placement, arranging travel for site visits, and assisting Program Coordinator with preparation and management of affiliation agreements and legal correspondence with clinical partners.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support school operations by completing or supporting the completion of requisitions, spend authorizations (travel), event coordination, and special assignments that support the school’s day-to-day functions, including providing backup coverage for division administrative functions as needed.

  • Position will support collection of data/documentation for asset management auditing, annual reporting, accreditation, and compliance.

  • Provides scheduling and logistical support for promotion and tenure processes.

  • Provides administrative and communications support for clinical education faculty and staff. Tracks and monitors student compliance documentation (e.g., immunizations, health screenings, drug screens, background checks) and coordinates resolution of documentation issues in collaboration with students and Student Health Services.

  • Supports clinical rotation placement activities, including annual communications, solicitation and preparation of placement offers, and clarification of placement details.

  • Coordinates travel arrangements for clinical education activities across the School. Maintains the clinical education database(s) and related systems by entering updates and ensuring the accuracy of site and preceptor records, clinical affiliation agreements, student compliance information, and demographic data (e.g., Exxat, E*Value)..

  • Collaborates as a member of the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences administrative team to support unit-wide operations and service excellence; performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
