Administrative Assistant

Fiduciary Trust International is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join the NY Market Team in New York City. This role is critical in supporting the team’s Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, and Trust Officers. This position serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, special projects, meeting scheduling, and travel arrangements. The role requires the ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize, manage time effectively, exercise diplomacy, and maintain confidentiality and judgment when interacting with sensitive situations and/or clients.  

How You Will Add Value

Core Responsibilities:

  • You will support two of our market teams in NY and provide administrative support to the team’s Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, and Trust Officers.
  • You will support all aspects of running the day-to-day operations of the team.
  • You will assist in developing prospect and client presentation books and quarterly mailings.
  • You will assemble customized PowerPoint presentations for client meetings.
  • You will handle large amounts of data and create client presentations.
  • You will process client transactions and provide superior customer service.
  • You will maintain and update client data and initiate wire transfers and payments.
  • You will ensure supporting documentation is received and imaged.
  • You will track, monitor, and submit reports generated from internal systems.
  • You will help ensure accuracy and compliance in client documentation and transactions.
  • You will contribute to client experience by coordinating logistics for meetings and events.

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role

Experience, Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in banking, wealth management, or asset management industries a plus. Trust Administration or Paralegal experience a plus.
  • Desire to work within the Trust (banking) space and/or investment management.

Technical Skills & Soft Skills:

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to become proficient in MS Teams, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Project.
  • Ability to provide superior customer service with professionalism.
  • Solid organizational skills, able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to unexpected circumstances in a team-oriented environment.
  • Comfortable working with data and numbers; analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility, self-motivated, and proactive.

Work Schedule & Location

Hybrid schedule with three days in office (One Madison Avenue, Midtown South)

Compensation: Franklin Templeton offers employees a competitive and valuable range of total rewards—monetary and non-monetary — designed to support their well-being and recognize their time, talents, and results. Along with base compensation, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, a 401(k) plan with a generous match, and recognition rewards. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes a range of competitive healthcare options, insurance, and disability benefits, employee stock investment program, learning resources, career development programs, reimbursement for certain education expenses, paid time off (vacation / holidays / sick / leave / parental & caregiving leave / bereavement / volunteering / floating holidays) and a motivational wellbeing program. We expect the base salary for this position to range between $62,000 - $65,000, depending on level of relevant experience, plus an opportunity to earn a discretionary bonus.
