A Brief Overview

This position will support the Deputy Chief Psychiatric Officer who manages a team of physicians, clinicians and staff who focus on quality, utilization trends and fraud waste and abuse investigations within Aetna Behavioral Health.  This colleague will identify, enhance, and follow specific processes and procedures to maximize the efficiencies of the Deputy Chief Psychiatric officer and team

What you will do

  • Conducts complex administrative office coordination assuring smooth, timely, and efficient operations.
  • Manages research collection, analysis, and compilation of data and information for department reports.
  • Handles files, reports, and financial records, and manages department record retention.
  • Defines a high degree of customer service by fielding internal and external inquiries, resolving or redirecting as appropriate.
  • Ensures efficient workflow and office operations of the department by following established policies and procedures.
  • Monitors the internal and external department point of contact ensuring concise communication with employees, stakeholders, and members of the senior management.
  • Prepares complex and comprehensive financial records and files about departmental expenditures, budget balances, investments, payroll, and operations.
  • Evaluates performance within the department ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

Specific Expectations for the AA supporting Deputy CPO and team:

  • Support executive’s planning and execution of projects and operations by managing meetings, notes, calendars, data requirements, SharePoint  etc. ensuring appropriate preparation for goals and objectives.
  • Email and calendar support and management of DCPO, including upcoming conflicts and work with executive to address
  • Creation of and maintenance of One Note and Planner documents to support and assist senior leader with open/active asks or areas of focus for them.
    • This will support assistance with Task Management and Escalation by organizing goals and breaking down tasks/ meetings/ due dates
  • Manage PO’s as part of DCPO budget
  • Support MD teams with tracking license requirements, weekend call and payments of such as well as onboarding support for new team members
  • Support team meetings, communications and minutes

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Basic awareness of problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with One Note
  • Prior experience working with doctors
  • Experience managing/organizing projects

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$21.10 - $44.99

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
