Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) sector is looking for a Administrative Assistant 4 to support the Advanced Tactical Programs (ATP) Operating Unit onsite in Baltimore, MD. The ATP OU is one of the largest OUs in the Airbourne Multifunction Sensors (AMS) Division and has a unique range of cutting-edge technology programs spanning development to production, while operating in a challenging and fast-paced environment to bring needed capability to the War Fighter.

The Administrative Assistant has organizational skills that are effectively applied to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and complex situations, while exercising professional judgement and tact in decision-making. The ideal candidate will work independently with minimal supervision to:
Collaborate closely with other administrative professionals in related organizations
Manage food orders and distribution during extended operations events and lunchtime meetings
Maintain in-person presence to support ad-hoc requests from team members
Complete assignments to a very high standard regardless of challenges encountered
Demonstrate dependability, accuracy, efficiency, and punctuality
Desire to work in a fast paced, changing, and diverse environment
Possess a positive can-do, self-directed, cooperative attitude
Possess computer skills at a level to allow the candidate to support the group with minimal direction.
Computer based administrative responsibilities include:
Calendar management (coordinate/sync unclassified and classified calendars).
Manage email distribution lists, conference room calendars, phone lists and reserved parking assignments
Visitor coordination including arrangements, visit approvals, clearance transfers and serve as visitor liaison
Meeting organization and planning
Travel expense report generation and closeout
Help coordinate/prepare briefing packages General Office Management
Assist with overseeing office moves and support facility related actions
Answer questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma with a minimum of 6+ years additional education and/or professional relevant experience.
Computer skills required include advanced expertise in Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel).
Experience coordinating Outlook calendar, conference call, and shared link applications.
Prior experience coordinating both on and off-site meetings and/or events with customers, including ordering, receiving and setting up food and refreshments.
Experience making travel arrangements.
Experience completing a wide variety of tasks with minimal supervision.
Experience compiling and generating reports and presentations.
US Citizenship required.
A current/active Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Associate degree, preferably in business or technical related field.
Current Special Program Access (PAR).
SharePoint (or equivalent), and intranet/internet proficiency.
Experience proofreading and correcting documents for grammatical errors.
Proactive, highly motivated and adaptable, with excellent organizational skills including the ability to juggle multiple tasks, changing needs, and competing priorities.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and proven success in organizing, prioritizing, and completing assigned responsibilities.
Experience interfacing with executive level internal and external contacts with considerable autonomy.
Familiarity with SAP, Concur, Facilities requests, IBUY, etc.

Primary Level Salary Range: $63,500.00 - $105,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
