SUMMARY
Provides support to the First Interstate Wealth Management team. This individual will primarily assist the Wealth Advisor in the performance of their duties and servicing of their clients. They will also provide support and backup to other members of the Investment Management team, as assigned. Position assumes administrative responsibility for projects that may be complex and/or involve bank-wide impact. Managing the front desk of the Wealth Management team. Requires initiative and judgment. Apply advanced skills for the position. Resolves most questions and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels. Works under minimal supervision. Affiliation with our broker dealer required and gained through successful background check and fingerprinting.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3-5 years’ administrative support experience preferred. Experience within Brokerage, Trust or Finance preferred. Ability to obtain security and insurance licenses including Series 6 or 7 securities license is preferred but not required.
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES
Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to work well with co-workers. Ability to properly prioritize workload and remain adaptable under pressure. Computer skills are essential. Computer experience with Internet, MS Word & MS Excel required. Knowledge of additional applications is preferred. Ability to pay attention to detail required, especially in time-sensitive and pressure situations. Looking for a professional, self-driven/motivated, pleasant individual who is committed to ensuring clients always comes first.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
