Grand Canyon University has an opening for Adjunct Health Care faculty members for an in-person, Main Campus evening course, and we invite applications from individuals who are enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge with our Health Care students.
What you will do:
- Provide program instruction, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline
- Maintain compliance with requirements for program accreditation
- Uphold the tenets of nursing as a holistic profession as well as the pillars of the University
- Equip students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance, and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession
- Participate in and/or support of the university program in all areas including an evident congruence with the philosophy and direction of the institution, and service to the community
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University
What you need:
Certified Athletic Trainer (BOC) with a Bachelors in Athletic Training from a CAATE accredited institution and substantial work experience in the content area of the course (will be assisted by a FT faculty mentor in the discipline as a secondary instructor).
- We are currently hiring for the Spring semester, 1/5/26-4/26/26.
- Class runs 2 nights a week - Tuesdays and Wednesdays- at 6 PM.
- As this is an in-person class, only local AZ candidates will be considered.
- Must successfully pass a drug screen.
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students
- Proficient in English, Grammar, and writing in APA format
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
