About This Role:

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Ensure you are in-stock and continuously streamlining processes to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.

  • Sell the freshest food and keep the store exciting by continuously introducing new items, being creative with product placement, and remaining focused on inventory turns and clearance.

  • Drive average units per customer by maximizing profitable sales per square foot and consistently offering Opportunity Buys and newness that deliver exceptional value.

  • Embrace the GT Culture for both your internal team and external customer (your local community) by creating a great place to work and winning at first shop.

  • Collaborate with your Business Partners in support functions to ensure you deliver on the GT Way

  • Collaborate with your Franchise Relations Partner (FRP) to build a business plan that allows year over year growth that is aligned to the company strategy.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of retail management experience preferred or equivalent.

  • Post secondary education in Business or relevant education.

  • Successful graduate of FIT program

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft suite and Workday or equivalent HRIS system.

  • French speaking/writing in Quebec market is necessary.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Additional Assets for the role:

  • Strong business and financial acumen.

  • Management or Owner experience in a Franchise System.

  • Internal candidate has held a role in a Giant Tiger store of Supervisor

  • Prior buying experience in retail environment.

Salary

$88,000.00 - $132,000.00
