The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end management of billing, collections and cash application activities for customers across assigned regions, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collection of outstanding balances and prompt resolution of billing inquiries. This role involves working directly with customers and internal stakeholders to manage delinquent invoices, support accounts receivable requests and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, while demonstrating a high level of accuracy, efficiency and professionalism. The specialist operates independently, supports cash-flow objectives and ensures compliance with company policies, controls and audit requirements across multiple geographies.

 

This role is offered as a hybrid in Brno, Czechia. We are only able to accept applications for those based in Czechia or who have sponsorship to live and work in Czechia. #LI-Hybrid

  

 

What you can expect to do in this role: 

  • Process daily billings across global entities, ensuring accurate and timely order, subscription and invoice management.
  • Investigate and resolve billing errors, Oracle interface issues and subscription discrepancies.
  • Upload invoices to customer billing portals, support consolidated billing requirements.
  • Provide invoice copies, statements and supporting documentation as requested.
  • Proactively contact customers regarding overdue balances and follow up on delinquent invoices.
  • Respond to customer inquiries within defined SLAs, maintaining clear documentation and audit trails.
  • Reconcile customer statements and accounts, complete customer and vendor forms and support credit hold and dispute resolution activities.
  • Apply customer payments to open invoices, investigate unapplied or unidentified cash and clear balances within defined timelines.
  • Review remittance information, bank statements and payment files to ensure accurate cash matching and posting.
  • Perform month-end accounts receivable close activities, including aging reviews and reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records across all systems.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Revenue Accounting and Order Management to resolve customer issues and support business operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimisation and system enhancements.

 

What we are looking for: 

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in billing, accounts receivable or collections, preferably with global customer exposure. 
  • Professional working proficiency in English. 
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately process a high volume of data and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational, analytical and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with billing/AR systems (e.g. Salesforce, Oracle).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
