C.H. Robinson is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the account receivable related tasks in supporting the countries across Southeast Asia. You will be based in Malaysia while working closely with the Countries’ Finance and other Stakeholders.

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Compile amounts owed by the company to vendors or other individuals, or owed to the company by customers or clients, and inputs figures to the accounting system
Receive and distributes invoices, verifying accuracy and compliance with organizational policies
Enter invoice amounts into the accounting system and processes invoices or payments
Reconcile amounts received or owed by comparing invoices to POs or other records
Respond to inquiries from customers or clients and researches and resolves concerns or discrepancies
Collect missing transportation documents from carriers, i.e., CMR collection
Contribute ideas for process improvement
Develop professional relationships with internal and external partners, maintain open lines of communication and build rapport by providing timely and professional service
Continue to develop skills and build upon knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes
Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements
Required:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience using accounting principals
Site Specific: Fluent in Local language and English
Preferred:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
Intermediate knowledge of Oracle
Ability to perform in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to work well within a deadline driven environment
Perform functions efficiently and accurately
Effective and flexible communication skills
Positive, professional attitude and excellent customer service skills with an ability to deal with conflict/sensitive topics
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
