The Quality Analyst is responsible for reviewing, scoring, and providing critical feedback on the Cash Applications team's work against established quality standards. This role is crucial for driving process standardization, identifying performance gaps, executing process improvement projects, and promoting a culture of quality and excellence within the team.
What you will do
Utilize quality plan criteria to review and score the work of accounting team members, ensuring end-to-end quality through observation and the analysis of sample transactions.
Provide feedback and document quality results through individual and team meetings, under the guidance of the Quality Leader, ensuring a positive approach that focuses on the professional growth of the individuals involved.
Under the direction of the Quality Leader, train the accounting team in quality standards with an emphasis on improving analytical skills and process execution.
Identify individuals and teams with quality performance gaps and develop targeted actions to improve results and effectiveness.
Support operational standardization by creating and implementing key documentation (SOPs, procedures) and performance metrics.
Participate in and execute process improvement projects.
Drive and promote a culture of Quality and Excellence across the team.
What experience you need
3 + years of experience in a related accounting process (e.g., Collections, Cash Applications, General Accounting).
English fluency required (B2/C1) with strong written and oral communication skills.
Expertise in advanced Microsoft Excel functions (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
