Accounts Receivable Manager (FTC 12 months)

As the Accounts Receivable Manager you will lead the UK & ROI AR function, overseeing the end-to-end receivables process across a large customer base.
This role is responsible for driving effective credit control strategies, improving cash flow and reducing aged debt, while ensuring strong governance around credit limits, payment terms and compliance with UK/ROI regulations. You will work closely with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve disputes, maintain positive customer relationships and ensure accurate, timely invoicing and reporting.

If so, we want you to join our team as a ‘Skechers Accounts Receivable Manager'

You will lead, mentor and develop a team of five, setting clear objectives and driving performance. You will take ownership of AR reporting, KPIs and process improvements, playing a central role in optimising systems and workflows. You will act as the main point of contact for all AR-related matters and contributing to wider finance projects and strategic initiatives.

This role is office based in our St Albans Head Office and fixed term for 12 months.

What we’re looking for: 

  • Experience in an Accounts Receivable Manager role or similar finance role

  • Proven customer relationship management skills with ability to handle complex stakeholder interactions

  • Advanced analytical capabilities and expert-level proficiency in Excel, financial systems, and data analysis tools.

  • Strategic thinking with proven ability to develop and implement process improvements

  • Organised with a methodical approach to work.

  • Strong leadership qualities with demonstrated ability to influence and drive results across departments

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to senior management.

  • Strong attention to detail with proven track record of managing complex projects under pressure
