Accounts Receivable Analyst

Job Description:

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will support the Operational Accounting Department by reviewing daily cash receipts, creating aging reports, initiate collections process and maintaining notes on each assigned client account.  

 

Responsibilities  

  • Review daily cash receipts  

  • Generate daily reports 

  • Identify remittance advices and maintain support with cash application batches  

  • Review weekly aging reports for past due and coming due client balances  

  • Collaborate with project accounting/client/client teams to identify and resolve pain points for aged item  

  • Review and communicate postage requests with Accounts Payable staff  

  • Assist with Client and Client team inquiries 

  • Research and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner 

  • Ensure that all internal accounts receivable standards, deadlines and guidelines are followed 

  • Maintains strict confidentiality of Client information and company proprietary information 

  • Perform monthly G/L account reconciliations  

  • Assist with audit inquiries as directed by Accounts Receivable Manager  

  • Initiate any requested invoice write-offs for approval by Accounts Receivable Manager  

  • Perform audits of travel and expense reimbursement requests and assist employees as necessary  

  • Help develop and achieve KPI's for financial and operational performance 

 

Qualifications 

  • BS in Accounting or Finance or relevant experience  

  • 0-1 years related accounts receivable experience including cash application/collection efforts or equivalent combination of education and experience  

  • Knowledge of general ledger accounting systems and general accounting, including data entry in excel 

The annual salary range for this position is $47,150 - $60,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
