Accounts Payable Specialist

The domestic accounts payable department is responsible for processing and generating all payments for services, products, and events at the plant. It ensures that all invoices that generate a liability for the plant are processed accurately and on time.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position

Advanced English

Basic tax knowledge

Experience with Kiryba preferred

Receives and records all invoices issued for the plant. • Is responsible for recording all accounts payable entries in the accounting system. • Generates all payments for the plant's national entity. • Performs all accounting entries for liabilities and expense provisions. • Reconciles liability accounts to ensure sound accounting management. • Records credit notes when necessary. • Reconciles supplier statements, clarifies discrepancies, and confirms outstanding balances. • Submits funding requests for payments. • Generates final payments to employees. • Follows and applies internal control policies. • Supports and provides information for the correct calculation of taxes payable. • Provides information, evidence, and support for local, internal, or external audit requirements. • Actively participates in the month-end closing process, ensuring that processes are completed on time and correctly. • Works as part of the finance department team, promoting corporate ethics and a results-oriented approach.
