Job Summary: Processes accounts payable for the Saint Francis Health System.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None.

Work Experience: 1 - 2 years related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of Microsoft excel and word. Data entry and ten key skills with a minimum of 10,000 kph or 40 wpm preferred. Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills needed.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Receives, organizes, stamps and files accounts payable documents. Authorizes and processes payment of invoices utilizing proper accounts payable procedures within set standards. Maintains and resolves non- authorized invoices. Reconciles accounts monthly and follows up on outstanding items. Maintains positive and open communication between assigned vendors and fellow employees. Provides analysis and completion of special projects as requested. Completes monthly accrual in a timely and accurate manner.

Decision Making: Independent judgment in making minor decisions where alternatives are limited and standard policies/protocols have been established.

Working Relationships: Works with internal/external customers. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff.
