As our next Accounts Payable Clerk (Co-op), you’ll play a key role in supporting our finance team by ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and vendor reconciliations. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help maintain smooth financial operations and compliance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Verify and process supplier invoices following approval protocols.
Review employee expense reports and investigate discrepancies.
Maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Address supplier payment inquiries promptly and professionally.
Conduct audits of corporate credit card transactions for compliance.
Assist with audit preparation and month-end closing activities.
Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Support centralization and automation of accounts payable processes.
What We’re Looking For:
Postsecondary education or equivalent work experience (finance/accounting preferred).
Understanding of expense accounts and cost centres.
General accounting knowledge and strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to adapt and work collaboratively in a team environment.
