Accounts Payable Administrator

Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a Accounts Payable Administrator in our Windsor, Ontario facility. The Accounts  Payable Administrator is responsible for the processing of invoices through a computerized accounting system and prepare cheques for payment of invoices. The ideal candidate will have strong organization skills, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Timely Processing of invoices using system three-way match process and manual approvals.

  • Resolve problems/discrepancies related to invoices

  • Generate weekly cheque runs.

  • Perform reconciliation of statements provided by vendors.

  • Communication with vendors regarding open invoices, pending payment and open issues.

  • Other duties assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge spreadsheet software, such as Excel

  • Experience using productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong communication & organizational skills

  • A desire and ability to work collaboratively with others to accomplish daily goals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) year diploma in accounting

  • One (1) year experience in an accounts payable position

The salary range for this role is $45,000 – $63,000.  An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location and business or organizational needs.
