Summer Student – Accounting / Finance

Location: Mississauga, ON
Term: Summer (May–August)

Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated Accounting / Finance Summer Student to support the Finance team with data analysis, reporting, and process improvement activities. This role is ideal for a high‑achieving business student with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Support accounting and finance analysis through data collection, validation, and reporting
• Build and maintain Excel datasets to support financial and operational decision‑making
• Assist with basic financial analysis, modeling, and trend reviews
• Prepare summaries and presentation materials for internal stakeholders
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives
• Perform ad‑hoc finance support as required

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor of Management, Finance, Accounting, or related program
• Strong academic performance
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Python or data analytics an asset
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to work in a team environment

$17.69 - $22.21
