Accounting Technician – Finance Team – Individual Savings and Retirement Sector (Temporary Position)

As an Accounting Technician, you will be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
Validate accounting transactions for administered contracts and reconcile clearing accounts;
Prepare accounting entries;
Identify corrections required when discrepancies occur in reconciliations;
Complete monthly reconciliations for the sector;
Respond to emails and information requests from various internal partners;
Keep all documentation related to the team’s accounting procedures up to date;
Provide support to nationwide transactional teams.
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a college diploma in accounting or administration;
Has at least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting;
Is recognized for rigor and organizational skills;
Stands out for autonomy and ability to manage priorities;
Demonstrates strong proficiency with IT tools and Excel;
Is known for analytical and synthesis skills;
Has an intermediate level of English, as the role requires regular email communication and occasional presentations to English-speaking partners.
