Compensation Range
Hourly: $19.00 - $24.50 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to ensure the timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing funds for the Commerce Trust Company client accounts, including, wire and ACH processing, check processing, check stop payments as well as performing cost basis adjustments. In addition, ensuring all activity is balanced and processed at end of day cutoff.
Essential Functions
Maintain balance between the accounting and bank related systems, related to wire and ACH processing, check processing, cash entries and stop payments on checks
Communicate with internal partners as well as external financial institutions as needed
Monitor and research out of balances appearing on accounting related reconciliation reports
Create the end of day Cash Control Spreadsheet used to complete the end of day reconciliation.
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Basic knowledge of banking products and services
Basic knowledge of complex accounting functions
Good analytical and problem-solving skills to research and resolve discrepancies
Ability to communicate effectively with internal partners at various levels of leadership
Ability to work independently, prioritize and perform varied assignments with frequent distractions
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Education & Experience
High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience required
1+ years of Finance or Trust Operations experience preferred
