Salary range (but not limited to):

47,100 - 57,500

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

As an Accounting Service Representative, you will be reporting directly to the Manager, Finance of Financial Operation Banking. Are you an experienced professional who operates with a high level of initiative, accuracy with attention to detail seeking new opportunities?

We are looking for a team player who will play a vital role in supporting our growth. If you are ready to join a dynamic team, this could be a great role for you to consider!

What you’ll do here:

  • Perform, via Cash Management Module (Oracle), the daily bank clearing reconciliation process.

  • Provide accurate and timely completion of daily bank exceptions, with management of timely investigations of unreconciled transactions.

  • Liaise with various internal/external stakeholders as required, to ensure smooth management of the process.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively address inquiries and resolve issues.

  • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end closing process through thorough investigation and documentation

  • Perform all other banking duties such as stop payments, fraud management, check verifications and cheque deposits.

  • Manage the Banking Operations mailboxes and independently support and manage inquires.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on various cash projects, offering specialized support and insights

  • Review and contribute to the workflow process procedure manuals on a semi-annual basis.

  • Support internal and external audits.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Post secondary education in Finance and Accounting – is required

  • Working towards completing a CPA designation.

  • Minimum 3-years experience in general accounting principles – is required

  • Excellent Communication skills (oral/ written) – is required

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Customer focus – External and Internal.

  • Self-starter, with the ability to prioritize workflow and operate independently in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements.
