Compensation includes a base salary of $92,300.00 - $153,900.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Accounting Manager, Cox Family Office – Finance

Overview:
The Cox Family Office Finance Team is hiring an Accounting Manager role to support the Finance Team with the accounting and financial reporting for the Real Estate partnerships managed by the family office. The Accounting Manager will be based in Atlanta. In-office days will be required.
Vital to the role is the ability to communicate clearly, problem-solve, and prioritize family/team needs while maintaining organization as a dedicated team player.
This individual will report to the Director of Accounting in the Finance Group. He/she may collaborate with the additional teams within the Family Office.
Position Responsibilities:
Prepare real estate partnerships’ financial statements.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, resolve issues timely and ensure balances are properly supported and explained.
Perform and review general ledger activities such as journal entries for accruals or expense account reclassifications.
Support the financial close process by processing the necessary journal entries and performing the required variance analysis. Ensure accuracy with adherence to deadlines.
Review and analyze monthly activities for accuracy providing recommendations when opportunities for improvement are presented.
Assist with a variety of ad hoc requests
Collaborate with outside service providers on projects to fully utilize software and establish best in class practices.
Collaborate closely with tax team for tax planning and schedules.

Qualifications:
Minimum
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Active CPA License
Six years of relevant experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and process improvement mindset
