Accounting Manager

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to help lead our fast-paced accounting function. In this role, you will assist in overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations while driving improvements across processes, systems, and controls in a rapidly scaling SaaS and marketplace environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting complex revenue recognition under ASC 606, managing our client funds obligations, and partnering with cross-functional teams. What you will do: 

  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliation, and variance analysis prepared by staff and senior accountants
  • Own accounting areas such as accounts payable, accrued liabilities, prepaid expenses, inventory, intercompany transactions, and deferred revenue
  • Lead and support accounting functions related to our client's fund obligations
  • Assist in technical accounting research and drafting memos for new transactions
  • Own the annual audit, tax filings, and other reporting requirements
  • Identify gaps in current processes and implement scalable, efficient solutions across the business
  • Oversee, mentor, and support staff and senior accountants; provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities
  • Partner with Billing, FP&A, Operations, and Product on financial data and process alignment

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA required; public accounting and SaaS or Fintech industry experience preferred
  • 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years in a managerial role
  • Experience with NetSuite (preferred), including the ARM module
  • Experience managing multi-entity, multi-currency environments is a plus
  • Proven success working in fast-paced environments or high-growth startups
