DESCRIPTION:
Join our team, where you'll have an important role in managing complex reporting activities across our organization guidance as a leader in the countries statutory reports. Working with finance teams, you'll analyze tax and accounting data, prepare detailed documentation, and provide strategic tax and accounting consulting services. You'll manage audits, maintain relationships with tax authorities, and help implement process improvements that enhance our operations' efficiency and accuracy. This role offers opportunities for professional growth while working with advanced tax & accounting technologies and methodologies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ensure compliance with local accounting and tax regulations in Argentina and Chile, using your expertise to guide our practices.
- Lead meetings with team members and external consultants to align strategies, discuss financial matters, and provide updates on accounting issues.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting through effective communication.
- Contribute to account reconciliations and prepare technical reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements that accurately reflect the company's financial position.
- Complete monthly closings, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
- Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit-related inquiries.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting and tax regulations in Argentina and Chile, assessing their impact on the organization.
- Serve as a key point of contact for accounting issues in the South Latam Region.
- Work effectively in multifunctional teams to run, plan, monitor, and deliver finance projects on time.
- Plan and monitor finance projects efficiently.
- Preferred Fields of Study: Accounting, Tax, or related field
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preferred
- Strong knowledge of corporate income tax principles and international tax concepts
- Proficiency in tax compliance software such as OneSource Income Tax, DataFlow, and Workpapers
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Experience preparing federal, state, and local tax returns and supporting documentation
- Ability to analyze complex tax data and identify optimization opportunities
- Strong project management skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual skills preferred for international positions
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
