How you’ll make an impact:

  • Day-to-day accounting activities for Saudi Arabia operations and ensure accurate and timely reporting to US in accordance with US GAAP and internal corporate policies
  • Prepare and process month-end journal entries; prepare balance sheet account reconciliations; gathering data and generating reports in support of trend analysis as well as providing complex administrative support including processing reimbursement invoices
  • Assist team to ensure Edwards compliance by applying knowledge of applicable regulations (e.g., Sunshine Act, SOX, GAAP financials, SEC, IRS) to develop explanations for internal and external auditors
  • Review, validate and process supplier invoices
  • Monitor and follow up on aged payables
  • Ensure correct GL coding, cost center allocation
  • Monitor fixed asset register, validate monthly depreciations
  • Process monthly prepaid expense amortization - analyze monthly schedules
  • Prepare monthly tax declarations (e.g. VAT) and reporting
  • Month-end closing accounting activities - balance sheet reconciliations, accruals
     

What you'll need (Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree & 1+ years of work experience in the field of finance/accounting
  • Proficiency in English 


What else we look for (Preferred):

  • Good understanding of local GAAP/ international accounting principles (e.g., U.S GAAP, IFRS), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
  • Good computer skills in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel 
  • Knowledge of any accounting/ERP systems (e.g. JD Edwards, SAP etc.)
  • Ability to work following external and internal SOPs and standards 
  • Proactive approach in daily tasks and communication across region
  • Effective communication skills and awareness of cultural differences
  • Experience in finance/accounting in a multi-national environment
  • Good analytical skills and result orientation
