Job Description Summary:

Responsible for representing Option Care, Women’s Health as an account manager, providing education & promoting the services offered by the Option Care Women’s Health division for in-home management of high-risk pregnancies.

Responsible for developing marketing campaigns and materials that reflect the analysis of prior marketing data to build on the success or failure of prior campaigns/marketing efforts. Responsible for maintaining all existing accounts and serving as a source of information for both the referring party and Option Care. Assists Option Care in company profitability through reporting new market opportunities and growth of existing markets .

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)

  • Generate sales of product line to Physician Offices, Case Management Staffs of hospitals/insurance companies, etc., and Hospital Nursing Staffs (Antepartum Units/Labor & Delivery, etc.)
  • Works with Management Team to create marketing campaigns, and care coordination within the hospital systems including case managers, discharge planners and the Option Care Transition Coordinators and Care Transition Specialists
  • Analyze monthly, quarterly and annual marketing statistics as they pertain to the assigned territory, Reports include growth of existing market and include new referral sources in which option care health services have been rendered.
  • Determine opportunities for new service offerings and business opportunities within the market and alignment of these opportunities within the division
  • Distribute marketing material to all types of clients and will act as a resource regarding current market conditions and information gathered in the sales process.
  • Maintain adequate records of sales calls and interactions with clients through appropriate expense reports and the continual updating of database software containing information about clientele.  Employee will further help to manage this system and review such data to create marketing reports for Management Team and base sales campaigns upon such data.
  • Successfully provide and execute budgetary oversight of required budget expectations within your territory as it pertains to spending related to marketing campaigns and materials needed for successful marketing of the services rendered and needed for market growth

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years of experience with outside direct health care sales with proven success

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work autonomously in the selected geographic market area
  • Excellent presentation skills in detailing product line to all types of medical professionals
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to use computer/word processor for completing reports, maintaining client lists, completing database entries, etc.
  • Appropriate telephone skills and manners
  • Excellent creativity in creating marketing campaigns, new product and service lines
  • Ability to interpret market trends, assess individual client needs, and the responsiveness to handle all such demands thoroughly and expeditiously
  • Ability to work independently within the team framework
  • Flexibility in personal work schedule with regard to marketing events throughout the calendar year (e.g. American Airlines events, charity events, etc.)
  • Ability to provide own transportation with vehicle in good working order and appropriate personal car insurance to cover losses/accidents
  • Familiarity with territory assigned and ability to cold-call clients and convert them to our service lines

 

Travel Requirements:  (if required)

  •  Willing to travel at least 75% of the time for business purposes (not overnight)

 

Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)

  • Sales related to products and service offered to OBGYN providers desirable
  • Previous experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry.

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $75,394.87-$125,650.63
