Account Manager, Table Games - South Region

Position Summary

The person in this position is responsible for managing and selling Table Games and Electronic Table Games (ETGs) to licensed casino operators within an assigned territory, while enhancing customer service quality and satisfaction.

The Direct Sales - Existing Accounts focus specializes in selling the firm's products or services to, and maintaining relationships with, existing accounts. Sells firm products or services directly to the end-user.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintains a comprehensive understanding of Table Games and ETGs product lines and their application within the casino marketplace.

  • Prepares and delivers sales presentations focused on Table Games and ETGs to new and existing customers at various venues including trade meetings and on-site visits.

  • Identifies customer requirements specific to Table Games and ETGs through sales contact or floor analysis and demonstrates how these products will enhance their casino operations.

  • Maintains updated account listings and call sheets for Table Games and ETGs customers using various sources of information.

  • Collects credit history information, quotes customers based on approved pricing, and prepares accurate sales contracts and order documentation for Table Games and ETGs.

  • Provides estimated delivery dates for Table Games and ETGs and keeps customers informed of any issues affecting delivery.

  • Generates regular forecast reports for Table Games and ETGs and identifies major sales opportunities.

  • Reports competitive trends and issues affecting Table Games and ETGs to management.

  • Manages sales contracts and order documentation for Table Games and ETGs in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Handles a large customer base focused on Table Games and ETGs.

  • Submits expense reports accurately and on time.

  • Meets or exceeds sales quotas for Table Games and ETGs.

  • Performs other duties related to Table Games and ETGs as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • More than three years of sales experience.

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Table Games and ETGs within the gaming industry.

  • Preferred prior experience with major gaming manufacturers specializing in Table Games and ETGs.

  • Understanding of Table Games and ETGs technology and operational nuances.

  • Ability to learn and implement commercial objectives for Table Games and ETGs in customer settings.

  • Demonstrated success in developing territory and customer base for Table Games and ETGs.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Ability to work in a dynamic sales environment.

  • Ability to demonstrate value for a technical product.

  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, sales proposals, and presentation materials.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, managers, customers, or the general public.

  • Customer-orientation.

  • Strong negotiation skills when preparing sales contracts.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to Travel.

Work Conditions: 

  • The work conditions are representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations.

  • Heavy phone use. 

  • Casino Environment. Exposure to noise and cigarette smoke.

  • May require weekend and evening hours. Overnight travel required in relation to territory and customer location.
