A day in the life:

  • The Digital Media Account Manager should have strong client-facing skills and be able to participate as a subject matter expert in client meetings.

    The Digital Media Account Manager is responsible and accountable for the daily management of client communication, project management, and strategic account planning, including understanding and optimizing performance drivers and being able to provide recommendations based on data.

    The ideal candidate for this role has previous, direct experience managing multi-media clients and is multi-faceted. Understanding and the ability to apply digital marketing best practices in relevant areas are a must and key to the candidate’s success. Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to educate and manage client expectations will be a critical part of the job.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading clients that predominantly focus on Google and Meta ads.
  • Lead day-to-day client activity that drives growth for our clients, including client communication & education, project management for campaign execution, planning and thought leadership for service strategy.
  • Monitor and analyze account activity (i.e., volumes, key performance indicators/metrics, incidents, trends, etc.) across their clients.
  • Understand partner marketing objectives and work with cross-functional teams at Cardinal to create innovative strategies that maximize program performance.
  • Manage client and agency team expectations, day in and out, and helping clear roadblocks to success.
  • Lead client meetings to present and discuss program optimization, execution, and marketing best practices.
  • Responsible for day-to-day implementation of project deliverables; ensures deliverables are client-ready.

Role Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with a marketing agency managing digital programs.
  • Experience working with SEO, PPC, Creative, and Analytics resources and a thorough understanding of related deliverables.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under ever-changing needs and schedules; handling multiple accounts at once while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Proven project management skills with an understanding of processes and quality assurance/control.
  • Top talent that is proactive and thrives in environments where they are creating new opportunities where none currently exist.
  • Must be able to travel from time to time as required, as relationship-building with partners is critical to position success.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proven experience in growing client accounts and agency business.
