About the Organization
Global Commercial Electronics Sales is responsible for driving the adoption and expansion of 3M’s electronics solutions across electronic component and device manufacturers worldwide.By partnering with customers in a wide range of industries—including semiconductors, electronic devices, and industrial equipment—the team delivers technical proposals and product implementation support that create customer value and accelerate business growth.In addition to managing domestic accounts, the organization serves as a key interface with Japanese customers’ overseas sites, primarily across Asia, supporting the development and growth of global key accounts.
Position Summary
This role is responsible for delivering technical and commercial proposals to key customers, with a primary focus on interconnect products. The position also plays a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, developing account strategies, and supporting global projects in collaboration with customers’ overseas manufacturing and R&D sites.
Strong relationship-building skills and close collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers for interconnect product lines through regular business meetings, technical discussions, and reviews.
Identify and develop new business opportunities by understanding customer processes, challenges, and future needs.
Propose appropriate interconnect solutions—including connectors, bonding products, and signal transmission materials—and support prototyping, evaluations, and customer trials.
Act as a communication liaison with Japanese customers’ overseas development and manufacturing sites, providing technical explanations, consolidating requirements, and managing project updates.
Collaborate closely with internal business units and technical teams to translate customer requirements into feasible solutions and support the full implementation cycle through mass production.
Participate in trade shows, technical seminars, and relevant industry events.
Achieve assigned sales targets and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Conduct product demonstrations, prepare technical documentation, and support customer implementation activities.
Coordinate with global 3M teams and support visits from international colleagues.

社内の事業部門および技術チームと緊密に連携し、顧客要件を実現可能なソリューションへと落とし込み、量産立ち上げまでの実装プロセスを支援する。
展示会、技術セミナー、関連する業界イベントへ参加する。
担当する売上目標の達成および主要KPIのモニタリングを行う。
製品デモンストレーションの実施、技術資料の作成、顧客への導入支援を行う。
グローバルの3Mチームと連携し、海外メンバー来日時の対応・サポートを行う
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Minimum 3 years of sales or marketing experience within the electronics industry
Strong communication, presentation, and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders
Valid driver’s license
学士号以上の学歴
電子業界における営業またはマーケティングの実務経験3年以上
社内外の関係者と円滑に連携できる高いコミュニケーション力、プレゼンテーション力、調整力
普通自動車運転免許(有効)
Preferred
Sales experience with interconnect products, electronic components, or bonding/connection materials
Experience coordinating with Japanese customers’ overseas sites or global accounts
Key account management experience
English communication skills is required (verbal and written)
