Develop business relationships and acquire new business opportunities within the expanding fiber and sensing market in Germany as well as covering and developing existing major accounts in the datacom and wireless markets.
Implement a sales strategy for fiber, Ethernet, wireless and sensing system business and focus on local service and energy providers, key system integrators as well as their corresponding ecosystem.
Understand the customers’ business pains especially on critical infrastructure topics. Define and orchestrate sales tactics in close relationship with the pre-sales team, partners and the partner ecosystem.
Work closely with the account teams, partners and customers to drive the strategy and delivery of new solutions, products and services.
Use internal tools and provide accurate and timely sales forecasts.
Anticipate any change in the market, customer needs and requirements that could impact overall revenue target.
Empathic personality with the ability to develop strong relationships with customers on both sides - engineering and senior management level.
Previous project management experience and good presentation skills is a clear advantage.
Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master degree in Electrical / Telcom Engineering / Information Technology and a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience.
Deep knowledge and experience in fiber optics.
Deep knowledge of datacom.
Network experience in the fiber sensing market is welcome.
An affinity for IT topics and being excited to lead customers towards automation.
Excellent computer skills (MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics).
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and to be effective in high-pressure environments.
Fluency and strong communication skills in German and English.
Excellent interpersonal and team player skills.
