JOB DESCRIPTION
After intensive training on our products and solutions and the market for Animal Health, part of our F&B division, you will be responsible for the sales management of all distributors in your customer portfolio.
Reporting to the F&B divisional manager, you will oversee and drive growth across our distribution network and build strong and long-term relationships with your partners with a 70% UK and 30% Ireland focus.
Utilizing your expert knowledge, coupled with your influencing skills, you will seek out opportunities for growth.
What You Will Do
- Own the commercial relationship with our distribution partners, with a focus on UK and Ireland.
- Build a solid understanding of Ecolab products, customer plant operations and business objectives, and applicable government regulations.
- Develop strategic work plans for completing sales targets and service/consultation calls with new and existing customers.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Ecolab's innovative products, equipment and services.
- Provide industry expertise to customers in terms of sanitation, safety, quality and operations; including assisting with sanitation plans and programs, standard operating procedures, evaluating processes and procedures, identifying and implementing operational efficiencies, and employee training.
- Manage Ecolab products and equipment; participate in equipment installations, observe and test equipment and product performance, repair or adjust equipment, adjust chemical concentration levels, monitor product inventory and place orders.
- Report sales activities according to guidelines in CRM and monitor sales numbers.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of plant staff; build strong business relationships and networks
- Follow Ecolab safety guidelines and incident reporting requirements.
To Be Successful, You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in dairy, food or agricultural science, engineering, chemistry or related field.
- 2 years technical sales experience in meat, processed food, dairy, and poultry sector or the beverage and brewing sector.
- Good knowledge of the Animal Health market.
- Experience in a business-related environment managing international accounts.
- An optimistic action-oriented person, that likes to hunt for new opportunities
- Excellent communication skills, to be able to coordinate actions with customers but also with internal support functions within Ecolab Company.
- To be fluent in English. Other languages are a great asset!
- Possess a valid Driver's License.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout territories, including periodic overnight travel, could be required to be on-call during off-work hours and weekends when needed
- Ideally based in UK or Ireland.
