About the role:
Ideally based in the Townsville region, this is an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to support predominantly our Sugar industry customers across Northern Queensland.
In this hands-on position, you will regularly visit sugar mills and related processing sites, taking the time to understand each customer’s operation, challenges, and production goals. Working closely with our technical and service teams, you will design and deliver practical, fit‑for‑purpose water treatment solutions that drive measurable improvements in efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
This role suits someone who isn’t scared to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty.

Please note due to the physical tasks required in this role, the successful candidate will need to pass a physical fitness assessment.
What you will be responsible for:
Delivering customised water treatment programs, particularly with our Sugar industry customers
Supporting customers to reduce water and energy usage, improve equipment reliability, and enhance production outcomes
Building trusted relationships by understanding customers’ key business drivers and operational priorities
Partnering with internal technical experts to develop and implement innovative, site‑specific solutions
Identifying opportunities to optimise customers’ Total Cost of Operations
Providing on‑site service, reporting, and ongoing account support
Travelling across Northern QLD, with occasional overnight stays

About you:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
A tertiary qualification (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or similar) or a relevant trade background (Electrical or Plumbing preferred)
Experience, knowledge, or a genuine interest in water treatment systems, ideally within industrial or sugar processing environments
The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior‑level customers
Strong relationship‑building and problem‑solving skills
A proactive mindset with a strong aptitude for learning
