The Role:
 

The Account Manager is charged with renewing, retaining, and growing accounts within Campaign Monitor’s current customer base. In this role, you’ll manage the contract renewal process from start to finish, working with collaborators across the organization to ensure the on-time delivery of contract renewals. You will also be responsible for sourcing and closing mid-cycle revenue growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is hands-on and results-oriented, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Drive 100% net revenue retention across ~500 contracted customers through effective renewal management.

  • Lead renewal discovery to understand customer goals, email needs, and budget, and recommend the right Marigold solutions.

  • Proactively identify growth opportunities and churn risks; create data-driven account plans to maximize revenue and retention.

  • Develop and present customized renewal proposals and manage pricing and legal negotiations in partnership with internal teams.

  • Collaborate with Customer Success and cross-functional teams to support value-based selling, reinforce feature adoption, and advocate for customer needs.

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on Campaign Monitor, including product features, ideal use cases, and customer profiles.

Ideal Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of Account Management or Sales experience (preferably in the technology / SaaS space)

  • Passionate about helping customers

  • Proven track record of achievement against targets

  • Experience in managing sales-oriented conversations with customers and prospects

  • Comfortable facilitating legal negotiation in partnership with the Legal team

  • Previous experience with Salesforce.com or a comparable CRM tool

California SB 1162 Pay Transparency Notice

In compliance with California’s Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act (SB 1162), we are disclosing the compensation range for roles that could be performed in California.

For California residents only, the base salary range for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 annually.  This role is also eligible for commissions based on performance / sales targets / company results. For California residents, the expected range for this variable compensation is up to $20,000 annually.

This range reflects the base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for the position in California. Actual compensation will be offered within this range, based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as permitted by California law.

Similar positions located outside of California may be subject to different compensation structures.
