The Sales Account Management Professional is responsible for achieving significant long term sales growth and customer satisfaction along with managing the overall customer relationship with the assigned accounts. This employee will work as a primary contact for assigned accounts, including engineering, purchasing, quality, manufacturing and other areas. This employee coordinates involvement of other team members as needed. Responsible for all business development and sales at assigned accounts and achieving significant sales and profit growth to meet or exceed goals set by the Sales Manager while achieving superior supplier ratings.

General Responsibilities

• Collaborates with performing routine account management activities
• Submits short and long-range sales plans and prepares sales strategies utilizing available marketing programs to reach nominated targets
• Ensures that clients receive high quality customer service

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

The Account Manager is responsible for managing accounts across the EMEA region for Schrader Tyre Pressure Monitoring Sensor (TPMS) and PrecoRADAR product portfolios. The role focuses on driving sales performance and strategic growth within the automotive and heavy‑duty independent aftermarket.

General Responsibilities

  • Leads the direct sales process and achieving sales targets
  • Manages regular visits with existing customers and develops relationships with prospective clients Oversees day‑to‑day account management activities to ensure account performance and growth
  • Develops and submits short‑ and long‑range sales plans, and prepares sales strategies using available marketing programs to achieve defined targets
  • Ensures that clients receive high quality customer service

Additional Responsibilities

Responsible for revenue generation in European market. Ensures consistent growth of pipeline winning new business in existing and new accounts.

Directs external sales’ representatives and partners.

Interprets and analyzes data to create solutions to grow revenue and placement.

Responsible for Sales/Revenue inputs into the annual plan, quarterly updates, and long range planning processes for specific accounts.

Maintains and grows significant relationships in multiple departments, understands product journey and can create decision trees for all steps.

Creates and executes sales strategies to win against highly commoditized product lines in the automotive aftermarket.

Additional Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with Aftermarket specific sales experience;

Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving 2M EUR in sales and achieving significant revenue growth, specifically in the European Independent Aftermarket.

Rep Management: Strong skills with a proven ability to manage Sales  reps agencies and ensure the ownership of the account remains with Sensata.

Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute a strategic vision for accounts.

Business Acumen:  Proven ability to analyze information and leverage findings to set and drive the sales strategy.

Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization internally and with customers.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Languages: Fluent in English; German, French and/or Italian is a plus.

Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50%, including international travel.
