Responsibilities:
Support the KYC due diligence process by engaging and closely collaborating with Corporate Banking clients, Relationship Managers, Product Groups, Onboarding Unit, Quality Control, AML Advisory and other stakeholders
Adhere to policy requirements and timely training completion.
Be a team player and cross-support team members and/or other verticals as assigned by Director
Support cross-functional initiatives and projects assigned by management, including VP/Director-led efforts.
Support and enable GCIB to meet its goals/targets, help reignite revenue growth & facilitate other pillars of our bank/FLODCO strategy including “one FLODCO team” attitude.
Partner with relevant teams to address risk/AML/Sanctions compliance issues, while managing the progress of KYCs from an end to end basis for an assigned list of clients;
Monitor/review business activities across various product areas, while fulfilling responsibilities related to Request for Information (RFIs) related to KYC/risk/compliance issues identified as part of the KYC due diligence;
Showcase high proficiency in identifying risk flags, supported by rigorous trainings and guidance from Process Governance, AML Advisory & other stakeholders;
Attend appropriate training & support on a periodic basis;
Meet the requirements of various MUFG standards, policies & procedures including but not limited to Global KYC Standard, U.S. Branches Know Your Customer Procedure for First Line of Defense;
Seek guidance & escalate complex scenarios to Team Lead as needed;
Assist AMT Controls as needed with select oversight tasks, reporting coordination, and onboarding activities as needed.
Expected to contribute to cross-functional initiatives, including risk mitigation and process improvement efforts.
Support broader team initiatives as needed including but not limited to automation/AI and transformation projects aligned with GCIB and FLODCO priorities as applicable.
Qualifications:
Prior experience of working with Corporate Banking clients or experience in using automation / AI / digital tools and technologies preferred
Ability to work in a fast paced culture and deadline driven environment
Exhibit culture of strong risk principles
Ability to engage local & overseas stakeholders in different time zones
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Digital or equivalent work experience
The typical base pay range for this role is between $71K - $85K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonuses and/or incentive compensation.
