As part of the Agency Activation & Business Development team, play a key role in accelerating growth through strategic partnerships with independent agencies, while supporting selected brand relationships.
Act as a trusted advisor to independent agencies by consulting, challenging, and co-developing effective digital advertising strategies aligned with their clients’ business objectives.
Unlock new business opportunities by clearly articulating the value of The Trade Desk across channels and by expanding and diversifying activation strategies within the independent agency ecosystem.
Drive adoption and deeper usage of The Trade Desk’s platform and solutions, increasing product knowledge and ensuring long-term value creation for agencies and their advertiser clients.
Optimize client investment and grow business by identifying upsell opportunities, scaling existing partnerships, and developing strategic “big bets.”
Analyze campaign performance, data trends, and market signals to generate actionable insights and thought leadership tailored to independent agencies and their clients.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Client Services, Business Development, Product, and regional leadership to build strategic sales plans and deliver impactful, executive-level presentations.
Represent the voice of independent agencies by contributing to product roadmap discussions with senior leadership, product, and engineering teams.
Develop compelling case studies from successful campaigns to support client education, advocacy, and industry visibility.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience in business development, agency sales, or solution-based selling within the digital advertising ecosystem, with a strong focus on independent agencies.
Strong existing relationships with agency stakeholders; experience with brand-direct relationships is a plus.
Deep knowledge of online media and programmatic advertising, including data-driven activation and emerging channels such as CTV.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and deliver impactful presentations.
Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.
A proactive, consultative mindset with the ability to open new doors and grow independent agency partnerships.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with ambiguity, and able to influence cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority.
Curious and quick learner, able to rapidly grasp new technologies, products, and market developments.
Strong collaborator, with experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
Fluent in English.
