About the Role

Applies expertise in professional area to achieve results. Sells products and services by using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence and assist them In applying the products and services to their needs resulting in revenue generation. Participates in special projects and other business-related activities. Responsible for maintaining sales volume from existing customers as well as generating incremental growth and new business development via the telephone. Works closely with the Region Manager, Area Manager, and independent representatives on strategic focuses based on that Region’s needs.

This is a remote-eligible position in the following states: AZ, AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, LA, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, RI, TN, TX, VI, WI, and Washington DC. Additionally, this position would support the Southeast US and would work East Coast hours.

What You’ll Do  

  • Typically makes outbound sales calls to existing customers to develop relationships and generate revenue.

  • Maintains number of calls, phone time and number of contacts in accordance with activity goals.

  • Follows up on sales leads and meets monthly objectives.

  • May conduct and close sales presentations and product demos via the telephone and online.

  • Maintains up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets.

  • Participates in new product launch activities.

  • Answers technical and product related questions from customers and prospects.

  • Maintains high level (90%) of technical and customer service knowledge, including industry, product, technical, competitive, systems and order entry processing knowledge.

  • Collaborates with operations and R&D staff to establish a clear path of communication with the customer.

  • Supervision: Does not lead a team. Sets day-to-day operational objectives and ensures that work is performed consistently within existing policies and procedures. Work may involve the management of a process or project but does not include directly managing employees. May involve leading, planning, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress and accuracy of others.

  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, compliance, and confidentiality while adhering to Ossur values of Honesty, Frugality, and Courage.

Who You Are

  • Vocational or Bachelors’ Degree in a relevant field of education.

  • Minimal 5 Years of relevant experience or vocational degree.

The US base pay range for this full-time position is $54,538 - $67,397 + bonus + benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay rates. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
