About the Role  

The Account Executive (AE) is the day-to-day point of contact within the agency liaising with Clients and pushing tasks through the internal system. The AE assures a smooth working process internally and facilitates the relationship with the agency’s Clients. With a strong focus on the basics, the AE is expected to have a strong attention to detail, and diligence in following up on tasks.  

What You’ll Do 

  • Handles day to day administration of accounts (work flow control, meetings, minutes, estimates, records, checking, etc) under the direction of the Line Manager and delights clients with the accuracy and timeliness of work - measured by client and AM/SAM evaluation 
  • Develops a thorough understanding of his/her brands - measured by AM/SAM of store checks, competitive analyses and MD evaluation 
  • Learns & applies the principles of Brand Stewardship - measured by Head of Department evaluation 
  • Write briefs under the supervision of the AM/ SAM - measured by Head of Department evaluation 
  • Assist with the preparation of new business pitches if required. Assist line managers in preparing relevant materials, including market information, trends, competitive information as well as Client product information for development of plans or strategies 
  • Ensures that clients are efficiently charged for the work the agency has performed - measured by % of invoices passed first time by client and outstanding 
  • Is hungry to learn the business and apply that knowledge - measured by number of training sessions attended and AM/SAM evaluation of how the learning is applied back on the job 
  • Develops a sense of ownership of and passion for all creative work on his/her assignments - measured by AM/ SAM and ACD evaluation 
  • Flourishes in the climate of creativity and innovation in the Brand team - measured by the leader of business boosting initiatives proposed, accepted by the client and implemented by client 
  • Accepts and implements new ways of working that allow the Brand team to deliver quality work faster and cheaper - measured by cost/time savings 
  • Talks up the accounts and the work - measured by AM/ SAM evaluation 
  • Works with peers across departments & disciplines to apply best Account Service practice - measured by 360º evaluation 
  • Abide by the WPP code of business conduct 

What You’ll Need  

  • At least 1 years of experience in an advertising agency (preferably ATL and digital focused) at a similar position 
  • Good communication skills since facing clients every day is a MUST 
  • A big plus if you have experience in the ATL production process (KV, TVC, Video), have been involved in at least 1-2 productions (at any scale) 
  • Familiar with payment process/paperwork required to exchange with all stakeholders (internal, PH, clients, other agencies, etc) 
  • Good command of English speaking and writing skills to work with foreign partners. The ability to present professionally in English is a big plus 
  • Understanding of digital/social way of working and assets (media formats, KOLs, report tools, etc.) is a plus 
  • Able to work quickly and efficiently on several projects at the same time, and detail-oriented 
  • Great sense of common – able to persuade or generate cooperation 
  • Discreet – can be trusted to keep things confidential 
  • Flexible and have a “can-do” attitude
